The first day of the course began with an introduction and familiarization session with the climbing equipment.
\nThe young climbers learned how to use the various essential pieces of equipment, such as harnesses, carabiners and ropes.
\nAlex then took the group to a local crag, where they were able to put into practice basic big-pitch climbing techniques.
\nThis first day helped to build the participants’ confidence and develop a fundamental understanding of safety maneuvers. <\/p>\n
The second day was devoted to climbing the big routes themselves.
\nThe young climbers, divided into small teams, climbed under the watchful eye of Alex, who gave them personalized advice and tips on how to improve their technique.
\nEach participant had the opportunity to lead a route, set up belays and manage abseils, gaining valuable practical experience.
\nChallenges encountered along the way were overcome with courage and determination, testifying to the passion and perseverance of our young climbers. <\/p>\n
The third day was devoted to perfecting acquired skills and deepening advanced techniques.
\nThe young people worked on more complex routes and learned how to handle unexpected situations, thus reinforcing their autonomy and resilience.
\nThe day ended with a debriefing session where each participant was able to share their impressions and achievements.
\nAlex highlighted everyone’s progress and encouraged the youngsters to pursue their passion for climbing. <\/p>\n
The success of this course has encouraged us to organize weekly climbing courses.
